Each original painting begins with a moment of noticing.

It may be the changing light across the sea, the quiet presence of wildlife, or the way a landscape continues to stay with me long after I have left it. These moments become the starting point for paintings that explore not only what a place or subject looks like, but how it feels to experience it.

Working primarily in oils and acrylics, I build each piece gradually through colour, light and atmosphere. Every original carries the marks of that process. The layered brushwork, subtle changes in tone and small decisions made as the painting develops all belong to that one artwork and cannot be repeated in exactly the same way.

This collection brings together coastal scenes, landscapes and wildlife paintings connected by observation and emotional truth. Some are expansive and reflective. Others hold a stronger sense of mystery or presence. Each one offers a different way of entering the natural world.
