Ocean Breeze
Ocean Breeze
‘The horizon stretches endlessly ahead. The rise and fall of the ocean continuing in its familiar rhythm, the movement of water catching the light as clouds drift quietly overhead...'
There is something about watching the ocean that can make life feel a little less crowded.
Not because everything becomes still.
The sea continues to move. Waves rising and falling in familiar patterns. Clouds shifting overhead. The horizon stretching further than thoughts can comfortably follow.
Yet something changes.
Perspective quietly returns.
The kind that reminds us there is space beyond the noise of everyday life.
Perhaps this is what stayed with me while painting Ocean Breeze.
Not a dramatic moment. Just the quieter feeling of openness that arrives when we pause long enough to notice what has been there all along.
The rise of a wave. The movement of wind across the water. A horizon that feels expansive rather than distant.
For a little while, the mind stops trying so hard to hold onto everything.
‘The ocean continues its familiar rhythm beneath an open sky.
The air feels lighter somehow.
This is my place to breathe.’
The Black
"The stallion stood quietly, recovering from his journey across the land..."
Ocean Breeze
"The horizon stretches endlessly ahead. The rise and fall of the ocean continuing in its familiar rhythm... "
Quietly Sheltered
"Gently picking at the grass, I allow my gaze to drift across the views".
