Where the Tide Breathes Art Cushion

Created from my original painting Where the Tide Breathes, this cushion brings together the changing colours of a coastal landscape, from the movement of the clouds above to the deeper blues of the sea and the warmer, earthy tones of the shoreline.

For the cushion design, I've taken sections of the painting and extended them across the fabric, allowing the different layers of sky, sea and land to become part of an everyday object.

I particularly like the contrast between the darker blues and the warmer colours below. They give the design depth without losing the sense of openness that first drew me to the landscape.

Part of my Held by the Tide – Homeware collection, this cushion offers another way to enjoy the artwork beyond the original painting.
