The Tempest Art Greeting Card

Created from my original painting The Tempest, this greeting card features a dramatic seascape, with heavy clouds gathering above a dark expanse of water.

I've always been interested in the way the sea and sky change as a storm develops. The clouds begin to gather and move across one another, the light becomes more subdued, and the water takes on the darker colours of the sky above it. There is something fascinating about watching the weather change, particularly when the full force of the storm has yet to arrive.

For this greeting card, I've kept the painting as a complete image, allowing the movement of the clouds and the quieter expanse of sea beneath them to remain together.

It's a card that may appeal to someone who loves the sea, changing weather or the more dramatic side of nature.
