The Still Tide Art Coasters – Set of 2

Created from my original painting The Still Tide, these coasters feature a seascape where the mist softens the horizon and the pale colours of the sky meet the deeper blues of the water.

I've always enjoyed watching how the sea changes with the weather and light. Sometimes the horizon is so clear that you can distinguish exactly where the water ends and the sky begins, while at other times the mist makes that boundary much harder to see.

For the coaster design, I've kept the lighter colours around the darker strip of sea, with the small touches of white across the water adding movement and detail. I particularly like that contrast, and how the painting can appear quite simple at first until you begin noticing what is happening on the surface.

Part of my Held by the Tide – Homeware Collection, these coasters offer another way to enjoy the artwork beyond the original painting.
