The Still Tide – Mist Art Tote Bag

Created from my original painting The Still Tide, this canvas tote bag features a seascape where the mist softens the horizon and the pale colours of the sky meet the deeper blues of the water.

I've always enjoyed watching how the sea changes with the weather and light. Sometimes the horizon is so clear that you can distinguish exactly where the water ends and the sky begins, while at other times the mist makes that boundary much harder to see. Even when the sea appears quiet, there is still movement across the surface, particularly where the light catches the small waves.

For this tote bag, I've carried the painting across the front, keeping the contrast between the softer colours above and the darker sea below. The pale blue-grey fabric continues the lighter tones of the painting, while the small touches of white across the water add movement and detail.

Part of my Held by the Tide collection, this tote bag is another way to enjoy the artwork beyond the original painting.
