The Still Tide Art Coasters – Midnight

Created from my original painting The Still Tide, these coasters feature the darker colours of a seascape where mist softens the horizon and small touches of white catch the movement of the water.

I've always enjoyed watching how the sea changes with the weather and light. Even when the water appears quite still from a distance, there is usually something happening across its surface, whether it is a change in colour, a small movement or a line of light appearing briefly between the waves.

For this version, I've placed the painting against a deep navy background, allowing the softer greys and blues of the sea to stand out. It gives the design a different appearance from the lighter Mist version, while both remain connected to the same original painting.

Part of my Held by the Tide – Homeware Collection, these coasters offer another way to enjoy the artwork beyond the original painting.
