Quietly Sheltered is a landscape centred around a lake resting between the surrounding land. Grasses gather near the water, trees sit further away along the horizon and the changing colours of the landscape continue into the lake.

The original painting explores that balance between an open view and somewhere that still feels gently sheltered.
