The Black Art Coasters – Set of 2 | Jennifer F

The Black Art Coasters – Set of 2

Created from my original painting The Black, these coasters feature a black stallion emerging from a dark background, with the light catching his face, mane and muscular form.

I've always been fascinated by horses and the combination of strength and gentleness they possess. In this painting, I wanted to capture something of that character, particularly the watchful expression in the stallion's eye and the way so much of him remains hidden in shadow.

For the coaster design, I've kept the painting framed against a black background, allowing the lighter details of the horse to stand out while retaining the darker atmosphere of the original artwork.

Part of my From the Shadows – Homeware Collection, these coasters offer another way to enjoy the artwork beyond the original painting.
