Quietly Sheltered Art Coasters – Set of 2

Created from my original painting Quietly Sheltered, these coasters feature a landscape with a lake stretching between the surrounding land, beneath a wide, changing sky.

I've always enjoyed landscapes where there is enough space to let your eyes wander. In this painting, the lake and the land around it seem quite simple at first, but the longer I look, the more I notice the smaller details, from the changes in colour across the water to the grasses and distant trees along the shoreline.

For the coaster design, I've kept the landscape towards the lower part of the image, allowing the muted blue-grey background to give the painting plenty of space. I particularly like how the darker colours of the lake and land sit against the softer colour above.

Part of my Quiet Presence – Homeware Collection, these coasters offer another way to enjoy the artwork beyond the original painting.
