Beneath the Light Art Cushion

Created from my original painting Beneath the Light, this cushion brings together the changing colours of a coastal sky with the deeper blues of the sea below.

For the cushion design, I've used sections of the painting to create horizontal layers, allowing the softer greys and muted pinks of the clouds to contrast with the darker water beneath. The lighter movement along the shoreline adds another detail to the design, drawing the eye towards the sea.

I particularly like the difference between the sky and the water in this painting. The clouds seem to be moving and changing overhead, while the darker sea has its own movement, with small areas of light appearing across the surface.

Part of my From the Shadows – Homeware collection, this cushion offers another way to enjoy Beneath the Light beyond the original painting.
