At the Water’s Edge Art Coasters – Set of 2 | Jennifer F

At the Water’s Edge Art Coasters

Created from my original painting At the Water’s Edge, this set of two coasters features a dramatic coastal landscape, where the movement of the sea meets the rugged shoreline beneath a heavy sky.

For the coaster design, I've used sections of the painting to bring together the darker greys and earthy colours of the coastline with the deeper blues of the water. The horizontal arrangement allows the different parts of the landscape to sit alongside one another, while keeping the character of the original painting.

I particularly like the lighter areas of water against the surrounding darkness. They are small details within the landscape, but they continually draw my attention back to the movement of the sea.

Part of my Held by the Tide – Homeware collection, these coasters offer another way to enjoy At the Water’s Edge beyond the original painting.
