There’s a stillness that exists between tides,
a quiet moment where the sea pauses,
and everything feels suspended between here and elsewhere.

Drifting Between Worlds was painted in that space.
A whale, moving gently through blue light,
neither rising nor sinking, simply being.

This piece explores that feeling of in-between, 
the soft, uncertain places where transformation happens.
It’s about letting go of control,
trusting the current,
and finding your own way home.

Home, in this sense, isn’t a location,
it’s a return to peace,
a remembering of something deep and familiar within ourselves.

Oil on canvas, created slowly and intuitively,
each layer built like a breath, 
a conversation between stillness and movement.
