The sky is full of softer greys and shifting shapes, while the sea has darker areas, brighter reflections and the movement of waves along the surface. I particularly like the contrast between the two, and how much there is to notice when you spend a little longer looking.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eFor the journal, I've used separate sections of the painting rather than reproducing it as one complete image. The clouds sit across the upper part of the cover, with the darker ocean beneath, while a blue-grey colour taken from the artwork provides space for the title between them.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe surrounding colour continues around the spine and onto the back, which I've kept simple.
